International Butthan Federation (IBUF) is an independent sports organization, global main body to develop the standard and promote BUTTHAN the Most Amazing South Asian Martial Art also being practiced as safe sports across the globe for all the Nations. IBUF World-wide programs are for empowering people to attain better health, fitness, self defense, confidence, well-being, discipline, leadership and superior values in life and as a part of social development motivating the youth positively to become a responsible citizen rather a sound human being. The prime notion of IBUF is to build peaceful brotherhood ultimately and global friendship sharing the essence of priceless ancient heritage of BUTTHAN.

Oldest possible art on this planet can be simply termed as the Art of self-defnce or art of survival. Though history of human warfare dates back to the Epipalaeolithic to early Neolithic era. The evolution of Martial Art started with the inspiration of personal development besides the popular understanding of Fighting forms. In 520 AD the systematic Martial Arts had a historical shift from Kanchipuram, India to Shaolin temple , Henan province ,China. Bodhidharma was the Prince of king Sugandha ,Kanchipuram, India and he mastered the self-defence arts , along with higher psychophysical and spiritual training systems. He went to China as per his master Praggatara’s desire. There Bodhidharma ended up at the famous Shaolin temple where he taught the monks about special breathing, meditation and historical eighteen hands exercises which later on was transformed in to Shaolin’s glorious form of Martial art. Bodhidharma thereby known as the modern father of systematic form of self-defence. His contribution and philosophy is mentioned with importance in Chinese literature and history books as well..
The Indian subcontinent is the birthplace of systematic forms of self-defence or martial arts and was nourished at Shaolin temple the cradle of Martial Arts. However, over centuries this art from the Indus valley civilization lost its heritage as the thriving ground for martial arts. After two and half millennia, Global Icon Grand Master Acharya Yuree Vajramunee the Superhuman as seen on Discovery channel with his dedicated research & development (R & D) created an international movement to revive that heritage of martial arts under the glorious flag of “Butthan”. In 1996 the International Butthan Federation was launched from Houston, Texas, USA.
Bodhidharma introduced rich psycho-physical training to the Shaolin monks which was vital in strengthening the internal and external organs. Gradually through Buddist religious mission and trade relations Martial art started to spread from Shaolin temple to the various groups and countries with different identities.
Is situated in the City of dream, Panchagarh of Bangladesh with the view of World's highest Mountain Himalaya at the horizon. Definition wise probably we can consider this as the World's first Combat Sports based Physical education college to award formal graduate degree. Internationally acclaimed Martial Arts Grand Master Acharya Yuree Vajramunee the Superhuman as seen on discovery channel conceived the idea first and founded this unique Institution with the recognition from National University of Bangladesh. The college apart from awarding Bachelor in Physical education aims to generate a special environment based on ancient Indian subcontinental heritage of education and inspire the teachers and students to achieve Psycho-physical transformation and be enriched with ultimate essence of personal development through learning challenges.
This Sports Science college besides the students from different districts of Bangladesh also welcome interested students from other countries to come and to be a part of such life changing teachings and attain the opportunity to grow further towards higher plains with values and success. International Butthan Federation shall also provide necessary assistance for attaining Black Belt ranking in Butthan in parallel to the BP.Ed degree certification from the National University.
In future this institution’s vision is set to develop world-class athletes, Instructors and researchers and contribute in the development of the global peace, health and brotherhood.
